Notice of Adoption
Please take notice that on July 14, 2026, the Township Board of Wheeler Township adopted a temporary moratorium that imposes a one (1) year moratorium on the permitting, consideration, approval, location, erection, construction, review, and/or installation of Data Centers in the Township in order to allow appropriate time to study and potentially adopt revised regulations governing Data Centers. Copies of the moratorium may be obtained from Kelly Bushre, Wheeler Township Clerk, at 8510 E. Monroe Road, Wheeler, Michigan 48662, upon appointment using the contact information below.
